A little glow, a lot of love.

Some stories begin with a business plan. Ours began with a small flame at home — and with the eyes of Athena, which lit up every time a candle did.

The first flame

Two years ago, Athena took a little soy wax and a small 120 ml jar and, just for the joy of it, made her first candle, scented with carrot cake. When she lit it and the house filled with that warm, sweet scent, something changed for all of us.

A kitchen full of fragrance

Family afternoons of creativity followed: with her mum by her side, she melted old candles in a bain-marie and gave them a second life in jars from around the house. It was play, laughter and curiosity — and it showed us how much warmth a small flame can hold.

From inspiration to collection

That love became the inspiration for Athena's Candles, a brand of KAZEPI GROUP. We took the scents, colours and designs Athena loved and turned them into a collection of handmade scented candles, room fragrances, car air fresheners and gift sets, made in small batches with carefully chosen materials and the utmost care.

Made by hand, from the heart

Every piece is hand-poured, hand-finished and hand-packed — which is why no two are exactly alike, just like every moment they will light up. Athena remains our inspiration: the first to smell every new fragrance, and our toughest critic.
